World Wide Access Selected As ICEHOUSE FAST Pitch Competition Finalist

World Wide Access technologist Ashley Schroder has been named a finalist in the ICEHOUSE 2009 FAST Pitch Competition.

The FAST Pitch Competition is a real life “Dragon’s Den” business pitch competition focused on honing entrepreneurs’ sales and presentation skills while giving them access to expert business advice, tools and connections.

Ashley Schroder represents World Wide Access in the event, presenting the ‘Export 2.0′ concept and explaining how World Wide Access with its technology and on-line marketing expertise can take New Zealand products into the vast United States market in just 12 weeks, creating a new, faster, better, cheaper way to export.

Andy Hamilton, ICEHOUSE CEO,  says about the competition finalists, “This is what it is all about in taking New Zealand to a new place in the world. Some of these ideas are going to be very successful global companies.”

The ICEHOUSE is a business growth centre established in 2001 by the University of Auckland and its partners in recognition of the importance of small and medium enterprises to the New Zealand economy.
